How do we check a review before we publish it?
A review is published only if it passes five checks. If one fails, the card stays empty.
It matches an order
The writer's name, email and order ID must match a real purchase. Without a match, it is not used.
It is the writer's own words
We do not edit meaning. Fixing a typo is fine. Adding praise is not.
Any link to us is shown
If the writer was paid, given product or is connected to the seller, the card says so. The FTC treats hidden connections as a problem (FTC, Endorsement Guides: what people are asking).
Mixed and negative reviews stay
We do not pick only warm ones. A review that reports no change is as valid as one that reports a change.
No disease claims
A review that says VapoCept treats memory loss or any illness is not published, however sincere.

Are fake reviews allowed in supplement marketing?
No. In August 2024 the FTC announced a final rule that bans fake and AI-generated reviews and undisclosed insider reviews (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews).
The same agency says testimonials must reflect what buyers typically experience and must disclose payment or free product (FTC, Endorsement Guides: what people are asking). A glowing quote is not a license to promise results.
This is the reason we show empty cards instead of sample text. A made-up review with a made-up name would be exactly what the rule describes.
Spot-check any review, anywhere
Be careful with a review that has no date, repeats the product's slogans, names no pack or order detail, or promises a fix for an illness. Be careful with one that appears in dozens of near-identical copies.

Feelings of focus are hard to separate from expectation. Studies use a placebo group for this reason.

What should you do before you buy based on a review?
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take blood pressure medicine, a nitrate, a sildenafil-type medicine or a blood thinner. Arginine can lower blood pressure (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
Keep taking prescribed medicine. A supplement is not a drug, and the FDA has not evaluated the statements made about it. If you notice sudden confusion, trouble speaking or weakness on one side, call 911.
