The list01
What are the ingredients in VapoCept?
VapoCept lists seven lines: a vitamin, a mineral, two arginine lines, two citrulline lines and beta-alanine. Amounts are as listed in the brand's panel; check your bottle.
The seven lines add up to 665.5 mg by our arithmetic. Calcium is listed as calcium carbonate. Niacin is listed in niacin equivalents (NE), and its form is not named.
The bottle label image was not supplied, so the serving size, other ingredients and warnings are open slots. The supplement facts page shows what is known and what is waiting.
| Name in the panel | Amount as listed | Share of the adult RDA (our arithmetic) | Amount used in research | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Niacin | 7.5 mg NE | About 47% of the 16 mg NE adult male RDA, 54% of the 14 mg NE female RDA and 21% of the 35 mg supplement limit (our arithmetic; the panel's own percent was not supplied). | Adult RDA 16 mg NE (men) and 14 mg NE (women); upper limit from supplements 35 mg a day; flushing starts at 30 to 50 mg or more of nicotinic acid (NIH ODS, Niacin (consumer)) (NIH ODS, Dietary supplements: what you need to know) | A nutrient the body needs. 7.5 mg NE is about half the adult RDA; no study links this amount to memory or focus |
| Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate) | 18 mg | About 1.8% of the 1,000 mg adult RDA (ages 19 to 50) and 1.5% of 1,200 mg (our arithmetic; the panel's own percent was not supplied). | Adult RDA 1,000 mg (ages 19 to 50); 18 mg is a trace compared with food (NIH ODS, Calcium (consumer)) | A trace amount. Nerve and muscle cells use calcium, but 18 mg adds almost nothing to what food gives |
| L-Arginine (base) | 200 mg | No RDA for this line | 4,000 to 24,000 mg a day in blood pressure trials; 2,000 to 20,000 mg in exercise reviews (MSK, Arginine (About Herbs)) (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis) | Studied for blood vessels and exercise, mixed results; no cognition trial found at 200 mg |
| L-Arginine AKG 2:1 Extract | 200 mg | No RDA for this line | Arginine AKG has few studies; the arginine range above is the closest match (MSK, Arginine (About Herbs)) (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis) | Very limited evidence for the AKG form; none for thinking at 200 mg |
| L-Citrulline HCl | 100 mg | No RDA for this line | 6,000 to 8,000 mg a day in exercise and blood pressure studies (Trexler 2019, Citrulline and strength/power meta-analysis) (Citrulline, perceived exertion and soreness meta-analysis (2020)) | Studied for exercise and blood vessels; small or mixed effects; no cognition trial found at 100 mg |
| L-Citrulline Malate | 100 mg | No RDA for this line | 6,000 to 8,000 mg of citrulline malate in exercise studies (Trexler 2019, Citrulline and strength/power meta-analysis) (Citrulline, perceived exertion and soreness meta-analysis (2020)) | Studied for exercise repetitions; mixed; no cognition trial found at 100 mg |
| Beta-Alanine | 40 mg | No RDA for this line | 4,000 to 6,000 mg a day, split into doses, for 2 to 4 weeks or more in exercise studies (ISSN position stand, Beta-alanine) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance (health professional)) | Studied for short, hard exercise; no thinking trial found at 40 mg |

Profiles03
What does the research say about each ingredient?
Each profile gives the amount, the studied amount, the cautions and the sources. None of them shows a memory, focus or clarity effect from the VapoCept amounts.
The photos are still-life stand-ins; the brand does not say what they show.

Does VapoCept contain caffeine or a proprietary blend?
We cannot confirm. No other-ingredients text was supplied, so we do not say whether the capsule shell or fillers contain anything else. Check your bottle.
The seven lines carry individual amounts, so the panel as listed is not a proprietary blend. An FDA labeling guide says a blend shows a total weight with ingredients beneath it (FDA, Dietary supplement labeling guide ch. IV (proprietary blends)). That format is not used here.
No caffeine is listed in the brand's panel. Seller badges say dairy free and gluten free, but no certifier is named (FDA, Dietary supplement labeling guide ch. IV (proprietary blends)).

Who should check the ingredients before taking VapoCept?
With an allergy, read the other-ingredients line before the first capsule. Ask a doctor or pharmacist if you take blood pressure medicine, nitrates, sildenafil-type medicine or a blood thinner.
Memory claim06
Are any of these ingredients proven for memory or focus?
Not in the sources we found. One small trial tested arginine on thinking in frail older adults with high blood pressure, at a dose 8 to 17 times the label (Mone 2022, L-arginine in frail hypertensive older adults).
For the other lines, no cited study tested thinking. The National Academies called the evidence for brain-health supplements "limited at best" (National Academies, Preventing Cognitive Decline and Dementia (2017)).

Cost07
How much does it cost to take all seven lines?
One bottle holds 30 capsules, about 30 days. The brand's information gives packs of 2, 3 and 6 bottles and no 1-bottle price.
Checkout shows totals and shipping. We found no discount beyond the three pack prices; see offers and discounts and pricing.
FAQ08
VapoCept questions people ask
What are the ingredients in VapoCept?
As listed in the brand's panel: niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 2:1 extract 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. Check your bottle.
What is the main ingredient in VapoCept?
By listed weight, the two arginine lines tie at 200 mg each. Neither line is described by the brand as the main ingredient.
Does VapoCept contain caffeine?
None is listed in the brand's panel. The other-ingredients text was not supplied, so check the printed label if you avoid caffeine.
What does AKG mean on the VapoCept label?
AKG stands for alpha-ketoglutarate, a compound in the cell's energy cycle. Human evidence on it is limited, and the aging work we found was in worms and mice.
Is VapoCept a proprietary blend?
No. The panel as listed gives a separate amount for each of the seven lines. Whether the printed label differs from that is something to confirm on your bottle.
Are the VapoCept ingredients natural?
A seller badge says natural ingredients, but no certifier is named, so treat it as the seller's claim.
