VapoCept is a dietary supplement sold as capsules, 30 to a bottle. The brand's information directs one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water. The brand's panel (as listed; check your bottle) gives niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. Studies of these amino acids use grams, not milligrams, and look at blood vessels and exercise. No source we found shows that VapoCept improves memory, focus or clarity, and it is not a drug.

Proposed route: the body makes nitric oxide (NO) from arginine, and NO relaxes the muscle in blood vessel walls, so vessels can widen. Studied mostly for blood pressure and exercise, at grams a day.
Studied at: 4,000 to 24,000 mg a day in blood pressure trials; 2,000 to 20,000 mg in exercise reviews
Read the profileIllustration of a proposed mechanism, studied mostly in exercise research. It is not a measured effect on mind, and it is not what happens in your body.

Amounts vs research01
No. The label lists 40 to 200 mg of each amino acid line. The studies of arginine, citrulline and beta-alanine used grams a day, and they measured blood pressure and exercise, not thinking.
Arginine trials for blood pressure used 4,000 to 24,000 mg a day (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis). Citrulline reviews most often used 8,000 mg of citrulline malate (Citrulline, perceived exertion and soreness meta-analysis (2020)). Beta-alanine is studied at 4,000 to 6,000 mg a day for weeks (ISSN position stand, Beta-alanine). On the ladder, each step to the right is ten times more.
Label amount vs research amount, log scale
4,000 to 24,000 mg a day in blood pressure trials; 2,000 to 20,000 mg in exercise reviews (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis)
4,000 to 24,000 mg a day, the same arginine range; the AKG share of the 200 mg is not stated (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis)
6,000 to 8,000 mg a day (blood pressure and exercise studies) (Citrulline, perceived exertion and soreness meta-analysis (2020))
6,000 to 8,000 mg a day; 8,000 mg of citrulline malate is the usual exercise amount (Citrulline, perceived exertion and soreness meta-analysis (2020))
4,000 to 6,000 mg a day for weeks in exercise studies (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance (health professional))
RDA 16 mg NE for men (14 for women); upper limit 35 mg a day from supplements (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional))
RDA 1,000 mg a day for adults 19 to 50 (NIH ODS, Calcium (health professional))
Cyan marker: the amount in the brand's panel, as listed. Graphite bar: the range used in research (amber bar for the RDA up to the upper limit). Each step to the right is ten times more. A studied dose says what was tested, not what works for you, and no study tested VapoCept.
Niacin and calcium are different: they are nutrients with a daily need, not study doses. The niacin line, 7.5 mg NE, is about 47% of the 16 mg NE adult male RDA (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional)). The calcium line, 18 mg, is about 1.8% of the 1,000 mg adult RDA (NIH ODS, Calcium (health professional)). The panel's own percent Daily Values were not supplied.
That is arithmetic, not a verdict on your body. The FTC says a claim about a finished product needs evidence on that product, and research on one ingredient at one dose may not transfer to a combination (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). We found no study of VapoCept. See the full dose math.
What it is02
VapoCept is a dietary supplement in capsules, sold in a white 30-count bottle. The brand's information directs one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, so one bottle lasts about a month.
The bottle render reads "VapoCept", then "CLINICAL MEMORY RESTORATION", a copper rule and "FOCUS | CLARITY | ENERGY". Those are the seller's words. We quote them and test them on this site instead of repeating them.
The brand's panel, as listed, has seven amounts and no hidden blend. The bottle label image was not supplied, so the serving size, the other ingredients, the label warnings and the distributor are open slots below until the owner sends the photo. People search for it as Vapo Cept, Vapocepts and Vasocept; this site covers only the capsules on this label (which name is which). The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements).
Order buttons lead to the brand's sales page, where the checkout shows the live price and the guarantee terms.
Tap a number to read that line of the bottle render. The Supplement Facts side of the bottle was not supplied.
'VapoCept' in dark type over a brain-network graphic. This is a brand render, not a photo of a label.
The largest claim on the bottle render. No trial of VapoCept was found, so it is quoted here, not repeated. See the claims page.
Three words between two copper rules. No number or study stands behind them on the bottle.
Confirms the capsule form and a 30-capsule bottle: 30 days at one capsule a day. It also says dietary supplement, not a drug.
Claims vs evidence03
We cannot say it does. No study has tested VapoCept, and no source we found shows that these seven lines improve memory, focus or mental clarity in healthy adults at these amounts.
Brain-health supplements in general have thin evidence. NIH's NCCIH says direct evidence that supplements prevent or treat dementia is lacking, and that memory loss can have treatable causes, so a supplement is not a reason to wait to see a provider (NCCIH, 7 things to know: supplements and cognitive function). The National Academies called the evidence for prevention "limited at best, despite the many claims" in advertising (National Academies, Preventing Cognitive Decline and Dementia (2017)).
For arginine there is one small trial of thinking: 72 frail older adults with high blood pressure took 3,320 mg a day for 4 weeks, and a test score differed between groups (Mone 2022, L-arginine in frail hypertensive older adults). That dose is about 8 to 17 times the label's arginine, and it does not apply to healthy adults. For citrulline, beta-alanine, niacin and calcium, no cited study tested thinking.
Bottle render says“Clinical Memory Restoration”
What the sources sayNo source shows these amino acids restore memory. Studies of arginine, citrulline and beta-alanine use grams and look at blood vessels and exercise. No trial tested VapoCept. (NCCIH, 7 things to know: supplements and cognitive function) (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)
Bottle render says“Focus | Clarity | Energy”
What the sources sayStructure/function style wording. The FDA does not pre-approve it; it must be truthful and cannot claim to treat a disease. (FDA, Structure/function claims) (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements)
Badge says“Doctor formulated”
What the sources sayNo doctor is named in the files supplied. Claims about a finished product need evidence on that product. (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)
Lines as printed on the front of the label and on its badges. The dagger after each front line leads to the FDA statement.
Never stop or change a prescribed medicine because you started a supplement. Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or one-sided weakness needs 911, not a capsule. The full review is on does VapoCept work.
The 7 label lines04
VapoCept lists seven lines per capsule: a vitamin, a mineral, two arginine lines, two citrulline lines and beta-alanine. Niacin and calcium are tiny by weight; the arginine lines are the largest.
about 666 mgof listed ingredients, as listed in the brand's panel
Share by listed weight. The capsule shell and any fillers are not in the list, because the other-ingredients text was not supplied. Niacin and calcium are tiny by weight, like the vitamins on most labels.

7.5mg NEas listed7.5 mg NE, as listed
Vitamin B3, listed in niacin equivalents (NE); the form, nicotinic acid or niacinamide, is not named
Evidence: A nutrient the body needs. 7.5 mg NE is about half the adult RDA; no study links this amount to memory or focus7.5 mg NE
Studied atAdult RDA 16 mg NE (men) and 14 mg NE (women); upper limit from supplements 35 mg a day; flushing starts at 30 to 50 mg or more of nicotinic acid
Watch forLarger amounts of nicotinic acid cause flushing, itching and, at high doses, liver and blood sugar effects. 7.5 mg NE is small. The form is not named in the files supplied.

The mineral calcium, as calcium carbonate
Evidence: A trace amount. Nerve and muscle cells use calcium, but 18 mg adds almost nothing to what food gives18 mg
Studied atAdult RDA 1,000 mg (ages 19 to 50); 18 mg is a trace compared with food
Watch forLarger amounts of calcium carbonate can affect how some medicines are absorbed. At 18 mg that is unlikely, and food and other supplements add up.
Full profileNootropic, memory, focus05
It is sold as a brain supplement. "Nootropic" is a marketing word, not a legal or medical class, so it tells you nothing about dose or proof.
The FDA and the FTC jointly warned a "nootropics" seller in 2019 over disease claims and a lack of support (FDA/FTC warning letter to Pure Nootropics (Feb 2019)), and the FTC alleged that a popular memory product's claims lacked evidence (FTC, Prevagen's fishy brainpower claims). Neither case involves VapoCept; they show why claims about memory are checked against trials.
A fair way to compare any memory or focus supplement: look for a printed dose, a human trial of the finished product at that dose, and honest wording. Our brain supplements guide, memory supplements guide and label comparison page walk through it. The word-by-word check of the claims is below.
Claims as printed on the label. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
The nitric oxide idea behind the pitch is real physiology: nitric oxide is one of the signals the body uses to widen brain blood vessels (Toda 2009, Nitric oxide and cerebral blood flow). Whether a capsule changes it is another matter: ODS reports that arginine usually did not change nitric oxide or blood flow in exercise studies (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance (health professional)).
How you take it06
One capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, per the brand's information. Confirm on your bottle, and do not take more than it says.
The files supplied name no time of day and no food rule, so pick a moment you already do every day. Pick one below to see the routine; the slider counts the 30 capsules in a bottle.
Your pick: Morning. One capsule, 8 oz of water, then tick day 1 of 30.
Fill an 8 oz glass, the amount the brand's information gives for the capsule. Plain water is fine; the files supplied name no food rule.
Pick one time and keep it. The label sets no time of day in the files supplied, so choose a moment you already do every day.
Other medicines keep their own schedule. If you take a blood pressure, nitrate or erectile dysfunction medicine, ask your pharmacist before the first capsule.
A bottle holds 30 capsules. A paper calendar with 30 boxes is enough to see whether you took one each day.
An illustration of a routine, not medical advice. (NIH ODS, Dietary supplements: what you need to know) The label sets no time of day in the files supplied; the four times are examples. Follow your bottle and your clinician.

The label07
The bottle render shows the name, two claim lines and "30 CAPSULES - DIETARY SUPPLEMENT". The Supplement Facts side of the bottle was not supplied, so the table below marks what is known and what is waiting.
Round badges on the brand's images say Doctor formulated, FDA registered facility, GMP, Non-GMO, Gluten free, Dairy free and Natural ingredients. No badge names a certifier, so treat them as the seller's claims; the testing and quality page explains each.

Safety check08
It depends on you. Arginine can lower blood pressure, so blood pressure medicines, nitrates and sildenafil-type medicines are on the caution list (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (MSK, Arginine (About Herbs)). Answer five quick questions, then talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
A checklist, not medical advice. Arginine should not be used after a recent heart attack: in a trial of 153 heart attack survivors, 6 deaths occurred on about 9 g a day versus 0 on placebo, and it stopped early (VINTAGE MI trial, L-arginine after heart attack (ACC summary)). See side effects and supplements and blood pressure medicines.
What has evidence09
Start with a clinician, not a capsule: memory loss can have treatable causes, and no source we cite shows that a supplement treats it. Sudden changes are an emergency.
Signs from (NCCIH, Are you considering a complementary health approach?) (FDA 101, Dietary supplements). This list is not complete, and a supplement is never a reason to wait.
