Is VapoCept FDA Approved? What 'Registered' Really Means
No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety or effectiveness before sale, and VapoCept is a dietary supplement. A seller badge reading 'FDA registered facility' is not approval of the product, and the facility is not named in our files.

The plain answer01
Is VapoCept approved by the FDA?
No, and the same is true of every dietary supplement. The FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before they are sold (FDA 101, Dietary supplements).
The maker is responsible for safety, and the FDA generally does not approve claims or labeling beforehand (FDA, Questions and answers on dietary supplements). A product that claims to treat or prevent a disease is regulated as a drug, which is why supplement labels carry a standard disclaimer.
We cite no FDA review of VapoCept, and we do not say it is "FDA approved" anywhere.
Badges02
What does an 'FDA registered facility' badge mean?
At most, that a facility is listed with the FDA. It is not a review of the product.
The VapoCept render shows seller badges for an FDA registered facility and for GMP. No certifier is named for either, and the facility is not named in our files. Good Manufacturing Practice rules apply to supplement makers by law, so a GMP badge alone tells you little.
| Wording | Can mean | Does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| FDA registered facility | A site is listed with the FDA | The product was reviewed |
| GMP | Following manufacturing rules | A named auditor checked it |
| FDA compliant | The maker says it follows rules | FDA agreed |
The fine print03
What does the FDA disclaimer on a supplement say?
It says the FDA has not evaluated the statement and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
That wording goes with structure and function claims, which describe a nutrient's role in the body. The maker needs evidence for such a claim, but the FDA does not pre-approve it (FDA, Structure/function claims). The disclaimer text on your bottle was not supplied to us, so check it there.

How many months does a supply cover?
One bottle holds 30 capsules, about 30 days at one capsule a day as listed. Approval status does not change that math.
If you do decide to order, the planner shows how bottles map to months. Nothing here says you should.
You need 3 bottles. Cheapest cover from the packs listed: 1 x 3-bottle for $207.
Counts bottles only: one bottle per month at one capsule a day. Packs are 2, 3 and 6 bottles at the per-bottle prices in the brand information; no single-bottle price is given, so odd counts round up to a pack. Confirm the live price at checkout.

What should you check instead of 'approved'?
Check the panel, your medicines and the terms you can read at checkout.
Ask a pharmacist first if you take blood pressure medicine. The testing and quality page explains the seller badges.

FAQ06
VapoCept questions people ask
Does the FDA approve dietary supplements?
No. The FDA does not approve supplements for safety or effectiveness before sale. Makers must back their claims, and the FDA can act on problems afterward. A supplement with disease claims is treated as a drug.
Does an FDA registered facility mean the FDA cleared the product?
No. Registration lists a facility with the FDA. It does not mean the FDA reviewed the product or its claims. VapoCept's badge names no facility and no certifier in our files.
Why does the bottle say the FDA has not evaluated these statements?
Federal rules require that disclaimer on structure and function claims. It tells you the claim was not pre-approved. It also says the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
How do I report a problem with a supplement?
Stop taking it, get medical care if needed, and report the problem through the FDA's Safety Reporting Portal. Keep the bottle, the lot number and a note of what you took.
