Niacin is the line that adds up fastest against a limit. The adult upper limit from supplements is 35 mg a day, and the daily need is 16 mg NE for men and 14 mg NE for women (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional)).
Arginine studies use grams a day, so even three capsules sit far below them (Dong 2011, Oral L-arginine and blood pressure meta-analysis). That gap is not a reason to take more.

Who should ask a pharmacist before taking even one?
